Do You Know? A PSA For National Young Adult Cancer Awareness Week

National Young Adult Cancer Awareness Week is April 2-8, 2012. Join us in spreading the word and encouraging young adults everywhere to be proactive about their health.

Did you know?

More than 70,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer every year.

That’s one every eight minutes.

Cancer is the number one disease killer of young people under the age of 40.

Did you know?

Did you know that young adult survivor rates have not changed in the last decade?

A young adult can get cancer.  Young people do get cancer.

Young adults can and do get cancer.

So check yourself.

We still have our whole lives ahead of us.

I battled it and I won.

I’m a young adult brain cancer survivor.
